This past weekend at the AUS women's basketball championship hosted by the AUS in Halifax, third year guard Paloma Anderson led the Axewomen to a two point loss against the Cape Breton Capers in semi-final action. From Phoenix, Arizona, Anderson netted 22 points in the Axewomen's loss to the Capers. Anderson also had 6 rebounds. This past week, she was honoured as the AUS Most Valuable Player and was named to the AUS championship tournament All-Star team.
