The Axemen hockey team extended their winning streak to three with a wins against UPEI and the U Sports No. 1 ranked UNB Varsity Reds. In Acadia’s 2-1 win over the V-Reds, Moncton, N.B. native Robert Steeves stopped 38 of 39 shots. A Bachelor of Business Administration student-athlete, Steeves was named the Subway First Star of the Game for his outstanding performance. In the game that followed the next evening, Steeves back-stopped 26 of 28 shots on net for the Axemen's 5-2 win over UPEI.
