The Acadia swim team finished the season opening Jack Scholz swim meet with a second place combined team finish. First year male swimmer Brett Liem, from Bedford, N.S. picked up two event wins including first place finishes in the 50m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly events. The Bachelor of Science student qualified for the CIS championship in February with a winning time of 25.76 in the 50m Freestyle, breaking the previous Acadia record held by Luc Boudreau.
