The U SPORTS No. 1 ranked Axewomen basketball team extended their winning streak to 10 with two wins this past week against StFX. Yarmouth, N.S. native Alexandra (Allie) Berry broke the Acadia Axewomen’s all-time career record in rebounds of 660 held by former Axewoman Abbey Duinker. Berry, a fifth-year senior forward averaged 19 points in two games with a high of 28 points in the first of two games against the X-Women. Berry needed 6 rebounds to break the all-time career record and did so in game one versus StFX with 13 rebounds. Allie had 23 rebounds against StFX in two games and becomes Acadia’s leader with 678 and 11^th in AUS career total rebounds with 10 games remaining in her regular season career.
