Second-year swimmer Brett Liem was named the AUS Male Swimmer of the year prior to this past weekend’s AUS championship meet held in Saint John, N.B. From Bedford, N.S. Brett lived up to his name as the conference’s MVP with gold medals in the 50m breaststroke, 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle along with a silver medal in the 100m freestyle. Liem was also part of the silver medal 400m, 800m freestyle, 400m medley relay teams. For his effort over the championship weekend, Liem was named the AUS Swimmer of the Meet.
