Named the AUS Swimmer of the Year, second year Axeman Brett Liem experienced the U SPORTS championship for the second time in his young University swimming career. The Bedford, N.S. native posted a fifth place finish in the A Finals in the 50m Freestyle. The time of 22:61 in his fifth place finish broke not only a personal record and Acadia record, but also an AUS record in the 50m freestyle event. Liem also set a new Acadia record and personal best in the 50m Butterfly event, finishing 3^rd in the B Final.
