Kelsea Vessey, from Orleans, Ont. won a gold medal in the 200m butterfly event this past weekend at the AUS championship swim meet held in Saint John, N.B. In her first year with the Axewomen, Vessey also captured silver in the 200m freestyle and 100m butterfly events. She also won bronze in the 800m butterfly. Vessey was also part of the three silver medals won in the 400 and 800m freestyle relay and 400m medley relay.
