The Axemen hockey team split their weekend matchup against UPEI and the USPORTS No. 2 ranked UNB Varsity Reds. Fourth year forward Boston Leier picked up two goals in Acadia’s win over UPEI and one goal in the Axemen’s 3-2 OT loss to UNB. Leier, from Saskatoon, Sask. is second in the AUS points race with 11 goals and 19 assists and third overall in U SPORTS men’s hockey.
