The U SPORTS No. 10 ranked Axemen split this past weekend's two games with a 2 point loss to StFX and an 88-78 win against UPEI. In both games, senior forward Erik Nissen led the Axemen in scoring and rebounding. The Quispamsis, N.B. native had a game-high 26 points and 11 rebounds in Acadia's loss to StFX and a game high 21 points and 10 rebounds in the Axemen's win over UPEI. Nissen lead the AUS in rebounds with 11.6 rebounds per game average and leads in blocks with 23. Nissen is fifth in AUS scoring with 18.7 points per game average.
