The Axewomen basketball team completed the season with an Acadia record 18 wins and two losses. The Axewomen crushed the record this past weekend on Saturday with a win over host Cape Breton in Acadia’s final game of the regular season. Senior guard  Paloma Anderson, from Phoenix, Arizona, netted 29 points that included 7-7 from the free throw line  and a 55% field goal percentage in the Axewomen’s win. Anderson also had 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Anderson finished the season second in scoring in the AUS with a 18.9 points per game average, first in assists with 107, first in field goals with 141 made and first in steals.
