Dual sports athlete Katie Ross joined the U SPORTS No. 1 ranked Axewomen Basketball team immediately after her soccer season was over and has made a significant impact off the bench. In her first game as a starter, the fifth year forward from Halifax, N.S. posted a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds in the Axewomen's 84-63 win over UPEI. Ross was five for seven from the three-point arc and added four assists and three steals in her fourth game of the season.
