Allie Scovil, a fourth year midfielder, led a strong Acadia attack with three goals, including one game-winner and one assist en route to two wins this past weekend. A native of Hubley, N.S., Scovil opened the scoring on Friday night in the Axewomen’s home opener versus Mount Allison and was named AUS Subway Player of the Game for scoring two goals in a strong 4-0 showing. On Sunday, Scovil scored the Axewomen’s second goal and assisted the third goal in a 6-0 win over Saint Mary’s. Scovil leads the conference in scoring with three goals after the opening weekend.
