The Axemen basketball team extended their winning streak to three in two wins this past weekend against the Memorial Sea-Hawks. Senior guard Ben Miller from Winnipeg, Man. netted 14 points in the Axemen’s second win of the weekend on Sunday against Memorial. Miller was a key player in the second half of the second game, pulling four of seven rebounds in the closing quarter along with timely three-point baskets that either changed the lead or increased the Axemen lead over Memorial. Miller is fourth in the AUS in assists and third in three-point shots made.
