The Football Axemen improve to 1-1 by winning their first game of the season on the road against Bishop’s University. Junior receiver Cordell Hastings, from Calgary, Alta., posted two touchdowns in the Axemen’s 39-9 win over the Gaiters. Hastings had 5 catches for 133 yards and currently leads the AUS in yards receiving with 246 yards on 11 receptions in two games.
