The Axemen football team improved to 2-1 with a nail-biting 38-26 win over the visiting Mount Allison Mounties. Third-year quarterback Hunter Guenard was named the Subway Player of the Game for his outstanding performance that included 327 yards passing and 24 of 29 passes completed. From Calgary, Alta., Guenard leads the AUS in passing yards with 732 yards in three games. He also leads the conference in passing percentage of 68.9% and passing efficiency with 169.8.
