Lake named AUS athlete of the week

Acadia women's volleyball player Jenna Lake has been named the AUS female athlete of the week for the period ending March 10.

Lake, a third-year psychology student, was named the AUS women’s volleyball championship MVP after the Axewomen defeated the Saint Mary’s Huskies to win the program’s first AUS championship. She led the championship season with 4.0 points per set and 85 kills, which included an impressive .535 hitting percentage in the deciding match against the Huskies, which Acadia swept 3-0.  

She was also named Acadia's female athlete of the week. 

The other AUS athletes of the week were Memorial's Chris Weeks (swimming) and Sydney Oitomen (hockey)
