WOLFVILLE – Alexia Lemay-Evans (women’s volleyball) has been named Acadia athlete of the week for the period ending March 16.

Lemay-Evans, a second-year kinesiology student, was named a U SPORTS women’s volleyball championship all-star on Sunday, one of six players recognized for their play over the weekend. She finished the three matches leading Acadia in points per set with 2.5. Her scoring consisted of 22 kills, three aces and three blocks. Defensively she averaged 2.64 digs per set with 29 total, trailing only libero Rebecca Dorsey.

This was the final competition for Acadia varsity programs for the 2023-24 season.
