Acadia Axemen quarterback Hunter Guenard is the Atlantic University Sport football offensive player of the week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2018.
A third-year arts student from Calgary, Guenard threw 17 completions on 24 attempts for 229 yards and two touchdowns in Acadia's 31-9 win over the Bishop's Gaiters Saturday in Wolfville, N.S.
He currently leads the AUS conference in several categories including touchdowns (nine), pass yards per game (222.8), completion percentage (69.3%) and pass efficiency (159.5).

Acadia Axemen defensive back Rory Kelly has been named the AUS football defensive player of the week.
A fourth-year business student in his third year of eligibility from Moncton, N.B., Kelly had an interception in Acadia's win Saturday, which he returned 78 yards for a touchdown.
His defensive stats also included three solo tackles, one tackle for loss and a pass break up.

Saint Mary's Huskies returner Shedler Fervius is the AUS football special teams player of the week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2018.
A first-year returner and wide receiver from Toronto, Fervius had a 102-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Saint Mary's 28-16 win over the Mount Allison Mounties Saturday in Halifax.
He had three kickoff returns for 127 total yards in the win, along with five punt returns for 39 total yards.
