Boston Leier of the Acadia Axemen hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 18, 2018.
A fourth-year forward from Saskatoon, Sask., Leier led the Axemen to a two-game sweep of the Dalhousie Tigers in the quarter-final round of the Subway AUS Men's Hockey Playoffs.
In Wednesday's 5-2 win, Leier earned Subway Player of the Game nods after notching two goals, including the eventual game winner, and adding an assist.
Friday, Acadia completed the series sweep with a 4-2 win in Halifax. Leier notched an empty-net goal in the final minute to secure the win.

University: St. Thomas Tommies
Sport: Women's Hockey

Emily Oleksuk of the St. Thomas Tommies women's hockey team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 18, 2018.
A third-year science student from Thunder Bay, Ont., Oleksuk led the Tommies to a two-game sweep of of the UPEI Panthers in the quarter-final round of the Subway AUS Women's Hockey Playoffs.
In Tuesday's 3-1 win in Fredericton, she had a goal and an assist.
The Tommies completed the sweep Friday with an 8-1 win in Charlottetown. Oleksuk managed a hat trick, and assisted on a fourth goal, and was named Subway Player of the Game for her efforts.
