The Acadia women’s swim program is excited to have Emma Wintermeyer commit for the 2024-25 season.

A member of the Sackville Waves Aquatic Team, she joins the Axewomen from Bedford. She mainly competes as a freestyle and backstroke swimmer.

Prior to competing with the Sackville Waves, Wintermeyer was swimming with St Stithians Girls College Swim Team and Heron Swim School in South Africa. In 2021 she was recognized with the bronze certificate of improvement, which is awarded for improvement of more than 4-8 per cent of the top three strokes.

“I can’t wait to swim for Acadia and experience the amazing team spirit,” she said.

Wintermeyer will be working towards a science degree while attending Acadia.
