TORONTO (U SPORTS) – Paloma Anderson of the Acadia Axewomen and Conor Morgan from the UBC Thunderbirds are the ArcelorMittal Dofasco U SPORTS female and male athletes of the week for the period ending February 5, 2017.

Anderson, a fourth-year arts student from Phoenix, Arizona recorded a combined 57 points in a weekend sweep of then-ranked No.10 Cape Breton. The veteran guard and former BLG Award nominee for U SPORTS Female Athlete of the Year, scored back-to-back game highs – starting with 32 points in a 96-75 win over the Capers on Friday, followed by another 25 points in the Axewomen's 78-69 overtime victory Saturday. Anderson, who leads the nation with 23.3 points per game, added six rebounds, eight assists, six steals, and three blocks in the pair of contests. MORE>
