Scott Landry has been an assistant coach with the Acadia women’s soccer team since 2008.  Scott is also a professor in Acadia’s School of Kinesiology and the Director of the John MacIntyre mLAB (motion Laboratory of Applied Biomechanics), which is located in the Acadia Athletic Complex. 

Scott (originally from Pictou, NS) attended Acadia from 1992-1997 as a student and was a member of the Acadia men’s soccer team that won the 1996 Atlantic University Sport (AUS) championship against the defending national champion Dalhousie Tigers. Scott was also named to the 2003 ACAA All Conference Soccer Team while completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie University.

Scott has been coaching female soccer since 2002 and during this time, he has held different coaching roles at the senior, youth and high school levels in both Dartmouth and the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. Scott has been part of the coaching staff for teams that have won provincial championships at the youth and high school level and an Atlantic University Sport (AUS) championship with Acadia in 2021. Scott also served as the interim head coach for the Acadia women’s soccer team for periods in 2009 and 2010.
