The truth is that the CIS football landscape has been changing for many years now, we have been able to keep pace in the AUS but not nationally. Recently schools in the AUS have been raising the bar in terms of resources and Acadia is in danger of falling behind.  We need increased funds to allow us to keep pace with recruiting - flying players in to see our great university. 

Also getting our recruiters out to the rest of Canada to identify top talent.  We also need an increase in our Athletic award budget to attract top players to Acadia.   

If Acadia football is to remain nationally relevant we need an increase of funds available to allow us to attract top talent and keep great coaches around to coach them.

Axemen Pride has No Equal is a slogan that all current and former Axemen live by.  This approach has positioned us as one of the elite programs in the AUS and has become a source of great pride for everyone associated with the university.

It is our hope that we can call on your generosity once again to help us overcome this challenge and remain at the top of the AUS and keep striving for another national championship.                                                            .
