The Axemen football team picked up a big win against the StFX X-men this past weekend, improving to 2-1 for the season. From Malden, Massachusetts, senior Garvin Cius had an exceptional game from his cornerback position against the StFX X-Men. Cius pushed the Axemen lead to 14-0 early in the opening quarter on a 46 yard interception return for a touchdown. The touchdown was one of two Axemen touchdowns not scored by the offense. Cius also posted 5 solo and 1 assisted tackles. The interception is Cius’ second of the season.
