The Axemen football team finished the 2019 season with an undefeated record of 8-0 after beating Mount Allison 33-31 in their last regular season game this past Saturday. A native of Moncton, N.B., Chris Cameron-Kogler ended up making a play that ensured the Axemen would remain undefeated. The second year free safety intercepted a David Patry pass on the last play of the third quarter and ran it back 65 yards for a touchdown that put the Axemen ahead 26-24 and an eventual 33-31 win. The interception was Cameron-Kogler’s first of his university football career. He also had two solo and two assisted tackles in the win.
