The Axewomen basketball team picked up a win this past weekend against the visiting StFX X-Women and fourth year standout guard Haley McDonald had another exceptional performance. From Port Williams, N.S., McDonald was 10 for 19 from the floor for 29 points and added seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in the win. Earlier in the week against the Dalhousie Tigers, McDonald posted an amazing 36 points and was 6-12 from the three-point line.

McDonald needs to make one three-point shot to break the current Acadia record of the most career three-point shots made of 156 held by former Axewoman Emma Duinker. McDonald currently leads the AUS in points per game with 25.8 and three-point shots made with 39.
