WOLFVILLE – Acadia University's Department of Athletics celebrated the 2023-24 season on Wednesday night at the annual Fred G. Kelly Awards Night, hosted in Andrew H. McCain Arena.
(ANTIGONISH, N.S.) The U SPORTS no. 10-ranked STFX X-Women took home a 29-21 victory over the Acadia Axewomen Thursday night in the AUS semifinal playoff game in front of 500 fans at STFX Stadium.
WOLFVILLE – The Acadia Axewomen put on a show for the over 1,300 fans in attendance for Homecoming 2023 on Saturday as they topped the Saint Mary’s Huskies 53-14.
ANTIGONISH – In a battle of AUS women’s rugby powerhouses on a sunny Sunday afternoon in front of over 300 fans, the U SPORTS No. 6 ranked STFX X-Women and the Acadia Axewomen played to a 33-33 tie.
WOLFVILLE – Two tries in the last 20 minutes of Saturday’s home opener gave them a shot, but the Acadia Axewomen (0-2) were unable to complete the comeback as the STFX X-Women (2-0) held on for a narrow 21-19 victory on Sunday night.
QUEBEC CITY – Acadia’s Sara Grant and Amanda Jardine were named U SPORTS women’s rugby All-Canadians on Thursday night at the U SPORTS championship gala in Quebec City.
