Jenna Lake

Jenna Lake (volleyball) has been named the Acadia female athlete of the week for the period ending February 10.

Lake, a fourth-year psychology student from Conception Bay South, NL, played a key role in the Axewomen’s weekend sweep of Moncton at home.

On Saturday, she delivered a standout performance with 12 kills and eight digs, posting an impressive .407 hitting percentage in a 3-0 victory. She was just as effective on Friday, recording 12 kills, a block, and a block assist in a 3-1 win.

The Acadia athletes of the week are presented by McDonald’s.
