Hrapchak brings experience, leadership to Axemen football secondary
The Acadia Axemen football program has added veteran defensive back Logan Hrapchak to its roster for the upcoming season.
The 6'1, 190-pound safety from Saskatoon, Sask., joins the Axemen after three seasons with the Saint Mary’s Huskies, where he was named an Academic All-Canadian in 2023-24. Prior to his AUS career, he spent time with the CJFL’s Kamloops Broncos and starred at Marion M. Graham Collegiate, earning Defensive MVP and team captain honours in his senior year.
“What coming to Acadia means is a chance for me to show my worth,” said Hrapchak. “I’ve got a chip on my shoulder and something to prove, and I’m here to make a difference. I’m excited to join a program with a proud history and community and help bring back the Axemen to dominating on the field.”
Hrapchak, who will study psychology at Acadia, says he’s ready to give everything to build something special in Wolfville.
