Acadia wraps up competition at U SPORTS Swimming Championships
The Acadia Axewomen and Axemen closed out the final day of the 2025 U SPORTS Championships in Toronto with a strong effort, earning multiple C-Final appearances and solid relay performances. Competing among the nation’s best, Acadia swimmers gained valuable experience on the national stage while representing the program with pride.

Acadia swimmers capped off their national championship run with strong showings in breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, and freestyle events. Sophie Rooney's C-Final win in the 200m backstroke was a highlight for the Axewomen, while both relay teams finished 17th overall to close out the competition.
