The Axemen hockey team picked up two wins this past weekend including a 3-1 win over UPEI Panthers. In the win over the Panthers, third-year forward Cristiano Digiacinto scored all three goals including an even-handed goal, a short-handed goal, and a power-play empty-net goal. From Hamilton, Ont., Digiacinto also posted two assists in the Axemen’s 5-2 win over Saint Mary’s. Digiacinto leads the Axemen in goals & points and sits second in AUS goals and fifth in AUS points.
