The U SPORTS No. 6 ranked Acadia Axemen hockey team started 2020 off with two wins this past weekend. Instrumental in both wins was second-year goaltender Logan Flodell. From Regina, Saskatchewan, Flodell was named the Subway Player of the Game in both of Acadia’s wins. Flodell made 85 saves on 90 shots including 47 saves in a 5-2 win over Saint Mary’s. Logan leads the AUS in saves percentage and is third in goals-against average.
