The Acadia Swim team finished first in the combined scores at the AUS’s last regular season meet hosted by Acadia. Part of the win was the performance of the men’s team and rookie swimmer Gordan Shortt. From Simcoe, Ont., Shortt delivered three wins and a second place at the Acadia Invitational that precedes the AUS Championship on February 7-9 at Dalhousie. Shortt posted winning times in three different disciplines including the 400m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and the 200m butterfly. Shortt finished second in the 50m butterfly and was part of two gold medal relay teams in the 200m freestyle and 200m medley.
