Jewitt next Lion to commit to Axemen for 2025

Jack Jewitt is the latest addition to the Axemen football program 2025 recruitment class.

Jewitt, a Fredericton, N.B., native, played high school football at Leo Hayes High School, where he was twice recognized with the Coaches’ Choice Award. The 6’5, 225-pound offensive player was named an NBIAA All-Star on offence in 2024.

At the provincial level, Jewitt represented Team New Brunswick in 2024, competing in the provincial program.

“I’m very honoured to have been recruited by Acadia,” Jewitt said. “I give thanks to all the coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to play football at the next level. I’m looking forward to being a part of this awesome football program and becoming an Axeman, working hard for this team while I study biology.”
