Dickinson joins teammates on Axemen roster for 2025 season
Defensive back Liam Dickinson has committed to the Acadia Axemen football program for the upcoming season.
Dickinson, a Fredericton, N.B., native, played high school football at Leo Hayes High School, where he served as team captain for the 2023-24 season. The 5’11, 160-pound defensive back earned multiple accolades, including Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and team MVP in 2024. He was also named an NBIAA all-star and Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.
In addition to his high school success, Dickinson competed at the national level with Team New Brunswick at the 2024 Canada Cup.
“When I was a kid, I always looked up to university football players,” Dickinson said. “It means a lot to finally be one.”
Dickinson will study business at Acadia while continuing his football career with the Axemen.
