BC's Ryan Livingstone joins Axemen for 2025 season

Ryan Livingstone, a halfback from Delta, B.C., has committed to the Acadia Axemen football program for the upcoming season.

Livingstone, who stands 6’0 and 175 pounds, played for Vancouver College in the BCSS league, where he was a key contributor to three consecutive provincial championship teams. In his senior season, he recorded 50 tackles, two interceptions, three sacks, and two fumble recoveries, earning the most improved award.

Despite missing two games in his senior season, he was recognized as the tackling leader. He was also recognized in 2022 with the special teams award.

Off the field, Livingstone plans to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration at Acadia University.

“Committing to Acadia means another opportunity to grow and improve as a player, but also as a teammate,” Livingstone said. “Vancouver College has helped me grow into a better man, and I plan to continue my efforts at Acadia.”

Livingstone’s combination of athleticism and leadership is expected to make an immediate impact on the Axemen’s defence as they prepare for the upcoming season.
