Tantramar’s Logan Smith set to join Acadia Axemen football

The Acadia Axemen are adding another defensive leader to their roster with the commitment of linebacker Logan Smith from Sackville, N.B.

Smith, a 6'1, 215-pound middle linebacker, captained the Tantramar Regional High School Titans to an undefeated 8-0-1 season and a provincial championship. His standout performances earned him NBIAA All-Star honours, along with recognition as the league’s Defensive Player of the Year.

In addition to his high school success, Smith competed on the national stage with Team New Brunswick’s U18 squad at the 2024 Canada Cup.

“I am excited and honoured to start the next chapter of my life at Acadia,” Smith said. “When I saw the culture and how much Acadia felt like home, I knew it was the right place for me. I can’t wait to be part of a strong brotherhood that shares the same passion as I do for the game.”

Smith will pursue a degree in business administration.
