WOLFVILLE – The Memorial Sea-Hawks chipped away at Acadia's lead on Friday night and eventually completed the comeback to win 85-78.
Trailing by four points at halftime, Memorial closed it to a point going into the final 10 minutes. Jodick Moudiandambu (Hamilton, ON) was perfect in the fourth as he was 3-for-3 from the field and 3-for-3 from the foul line for 10 of his 12 points in the game.
Glex Cox (Scotsburn, NS) led all scorers in the game with 26 points for Acadia. He continues to lead the AUS in scoring through seven games, averaging 26.6 points per game.
Nicholas Tuff (St. John's, NL) led all Memorial shooters with 17 points.
Three other starters hit double digits for the Sea-Hawks with Jason Thompson (St. John's, NL), Emanuel Ring (St. John's, NL) and Flynn Boardman-Rafftet (London, UK) scoring 16, 15 and 14 points respectively.
Saturday the two teams meet again on Stu Aberdeen Court.
