HALIFAX — Acadia fell 4-1 to Saint Mary's in AUS men's soccer action on Thursday night.
Saint Mary's (3-2-2) took control early, netting three first-half goals. Will Brown, Colby Mercer, and Scott Firth all scored before halftime, with assists from Firth, Sean Freeman, and Woody Bain. The Huskies added a fourth goal early in the second half, as Jake Wilcox found the back of the net, assisted by Freeman.
Acadia (1-5-1) managed to get on the scoreboard late in the game, with Max Rogers scoring an unassisted goal in the final moments. Despite the late effort, the Axemen couldn't overcome the deficit.
