WOLFVILLE, N.S. – The Dalhousie Tigers captured the women's, men's, and combined team standing wins at the annual Jack Scholz Meet hosted by Acadia.

The men's Tigers team edged the host Axemen. The Tigers accumulated 645 points to Acadia's 623.5 points over the two sessions hosted Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

The Tigers women's team posted 714 points, with the Axewomen falling second in the final standings with 511.5 points.

The Tigers captured eight first-place finishes in session two, while Acadia grabbed seven and the UNB Reds posted their first win of the weekend.

Reagan Crowell (Lakeville, N.B.), and Allison McCloy (Calgary, Atla.) led the way for the Tigers with two wins each. Crowell had wins in the 800m freestyle and 200m freestyle. McCloy had wins in the 100m butterfly and 400m individual medley.

Acadia's Grace Earle (Halifax, N.S.) had wins in the 200m and 50m backstrokes in session two.

On the men's side, Liam Ferguson (Upper Tantallon, N.S.) posted two wins in session two, including the 200m and 50m backstroke.

Acadia's Gordon Shortt (Simcoe, Ont.), Shane Kenny (Bathurst, N.B.), and Dean Sangster (Truro, N.S.) each had wins in the 400m individual medley, 100m butterfly and 50m freestyle respectively.

Next on the AUS Swimming schedule is the three-day Kemp-Fry Invitational on November 25 to 27 at Dalhousie.
