In Sunday's match between Moncton and Acadia, the Axewomen emerged victorious with a 2-0 win in front of 426 spectators at Raymond Field in Wolfville.
Acadia's Alli Kelly opened the scoring in the sixth minute with an assist from Leah Adams, giving Acadia an early lead. Abbey Aucoin extended Acadia's lead with a penalty-kick goal in the 44th minute, securing the 2-0 victory for her team.
Acadia dominated in shots, with a total of 25 shots compared to Moncton's six.
