Harnish and Kay receive U SPORTS recognition

Acadia’s Mya Harnish and Taylor Kay were recognized Wednesday night at U SPORTS All-Canadian Awards Night as part of the women’s soccer championship.

Harnish was named a First Team All-Canadian, while Taylor Kay was named to the All-Rookie team.

This was Kay's first award recognition as an Axewoman. She finished her first year with two goals and an assist, playing in all 12 league matches. She also had the game-winning goal in September 29th's 2-0 victory over UPEI. 

For Harnish, she was previously named an AUS First Team All-Star for her defensive performance this season - which made it back-to-back years on the AUS first team. In 2021-22 she received her first AUS award, being named a Second Team All-Star.
