The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues lost 3-0 to the Acadia Axewomen on Saturday afternoon during an Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball game at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium on the Moncton campus.
These two teams have a second game on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the same venue.
The Aigles Bleues lost 20-25, 13-25, and 19-25.
Alexia Lemay-Evans led the Axewomen's offense with 12 kills and 12 digs. Rebecca Dorsey had 23 digs on defence, while Jenna Lake had 17. Emily Robichaud and Kyana Sivret each had five kills for the Aigles Bleues and Jasmine Allain 15 digs and Robichaud 13.
