Joseph joins Axewomen cross country for 2024 season

Acadia cross country is excited to welcome Ava Joseph to the program for the 2024 season.
She joins the Axewomen from her home club of Athletics East Track and Field.
With her high school cross country team at École secondaire Mosaïque, she advanced to School Sport Nova Scotia (SSNS) provincials four consecutive years and received the cross-country leadership and most positive impact awards. During the 2023 provincial championship she finished 11th in Nova Scotia.
“I can’t wait to be part of a great team and train together with the other cross-country Axewomen,” said Joseph.
On top of cross country, Joseph also played soccer for her high school, winning the SSNS championship in 2022. She received the most positive impact award.
As a club soccer player, she played UDFC AA and AAA from 2010-24 where she won numerous provincial championships and tournaments.
The Axewomen open their season on September 7 with their home meet at Hennigar’s Farm, building towards the AUS championship in Newfoundland on October 26.
