Max Ramirez

Max Ramirez (football) has been named the Acadia athletes of the week for the period ending Sept. 17.

Ramirez, a first-year running back from Fort McMurray, Alta., was named the Axemen's offensive player of the week for his play in Saturday's game against Bishop's. He finished the game with 51 yards, averaging 4.3 yards with his longest run on the day being 15 yards.

The Acadia athletes of the week are presented by McDonald's.
