Riley Comeau (football) has been named Acadia athlete of the week for the period ending October 1.

Comeau, a third-year kinesiology student, led the Axemen in tackles in Saturday's loss to Mount Allison with seven. He also finished the game with two QB sacks and two tackles for loss. 

The Acadia athletes of the week are presented by McDonald's.
