Second-year law and society student Ryan Regault delivered a championship performance, earning AUS Championship MVP honours as the Axemen captured their AUS-leading 18th conference title.
Regault scored 22 points in Sunday’s 84–74 win over UPEI, adding three assists, four rebounds and three steals to lead Acadia to its first conference championship since 2012 and first finals appearance since 2018.
Over three games, he averaged 18.3 points, seven rebounds and 3.7 assists, helping punch the Axemen’s ticket to the U SPORTS Men’s Basketball Championship in March at the University of Calgary.
