Chris joined Acadia Athletics in 2023, following nine years at Ontario Tech University as the sports information and marketing coordinator. In 2017 he represented Canada as a communications officer at the Summer Universiade held in Taipei, Taiwan.
During his time with the Ridgebacks he was a Masters of Education student at Ontario Tech University, graduating in 2022. He is also a graduate of St. Thomas University (Fredericton, N.B.) with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism. Prior to his current role, he freelanced for The Canadian Press and Brunswick News Inc., and was the sports editor for TC Media's newspaper, The News, in New Glasgow, N.S.
Alongside others in the department, he helped Ontario Tech win eight Ontario University Athletics (OUA) CHAMP awards for marketing.
