SYDNEY – The Acadia Axewomen are onto the AUS women's soccer semifinal after a 4-1 win over the Saint Mary's Huskies on Thursday afternoon.
Sydney Kennedy scored a pair of goals, while her sister Brenna scored one to help the No. 10 ranked Axewomen to victory.
The game-winning goal in the match came in the 29th minute from Grace Longley.
Charlotte Baines scored the lone Huskies goal, as Milena Ramirez made two saves in the victory.
Grace Morrison made 10 saves in the Saint Mary's loss.
Acadia will now face the No. 7 ranked Cape Breton Capers on Friday night, with kick-off set for 5 p.m.
