WOLFVILLE – The defending AUS champion Acadia Axewomen are excited to announce the commitment setter Ella Hickey for the 2024-25 season.

WOLFVILLE – Alexia Lemay-Evans (women’s volleyball) has been named Acadia athlete of the week for the period ending March 16.

HAMILTON (U SPORTS) – Akash Grewal tallied 13 kills for an impressive .579 percentage in the UBC Thunderbirds’ dominant 3-0 (25-16, 25-8, 25-21) win over the Acadia Axewomen on Saturday in their semifinal match at the 2024 U SPORTS Women’s Volleyball Championship in Burridge Gymnasium. UBC will look to defend its national title on Sunday.

HAMILTON (U SPORTS) – Light Uchechukwu tallied a team-high 11 kills to lead the No. 1-seed Manitoba Bisons to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-17) victory over the No. 6 Acadia Axewomen in the bronze medal match of the 2024 U SPORTS Women’s Volleyball Championship at Burridge Gymnasium on Sunday. Uchechukwu recorded a .333 hitting percentage on 24 total attacks while adding six digs and one solo block.

HAMILTON – Acadia women’s volleyball head coach Michelle Wood has been named the Marilyn Pomfret Award recipient for 2024 as the U SPORTS women’s volleyball coach of the year.

Acadia women's volleyball player Jenna Lake has been named the AUS female athlete of the week for the period ending March 10.

WOLFVILLE – Gordon Shortt (swimming) and Jenna Lake (women’s volleyball) have been named Acadia athletes of the week for the period ending March 10.

WOLFVILLE – Following a first-place finish in the AUS, the Acadia Axewomen volleyball team have received four all-star awards, an all-rookie nod and one major award as Michelle Wood was recognized as the AUS coach of the year on Wednesday.

HALIFAX - The Acadia Axewomen defeated the Dalhousie Tigers 3-2 (33-31, 25-15, 25-23), on Saturday night at the Dalplex in Halifax.

WOLFVILLE – It took five sets, but the Dalhousie Tigers took Thursday night’s match 3-2 over the Acadia Axewomen.

WOLFVILLE – Miguel Boskovic (men’s basketball) and Rebecca Dorsey (women’s volleyball) have been named Acadia athletes of the week for the period ending February 11.

WOLFVILLE – The Acadia Axewomen picked up a 3-1 victory over the UNB Reds on Saturday afternoon in Wolfville.

WOLFVILLE – A victory over UNB on Friday night on Stu Aberdeen Court has locked up a top-two finish for the Acadia women’s volleyball program, giving them homecourt advantage for the semifinal round of the AUS championship.
